The Memo is a subscription-based daily intelligence briefing delivered by email. It is operated by Bernstein Holding UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Eschenlohmühle 2, 86862 Lamerdingen, Germany.
Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
All content delivered through The Memo — including but not limited to the daily briefing documents, analysis, commentary, formatting, and editorial selection — is the exclusive intellectual property of Bernstein Holding UG.
Subscribers may not:
a) Redistribute, forward, publish, or share briefing content with any third party, whether in original or modified form.
b) Use briefing content as input, training data, or reference material for any artificial intelligence model, large language model, machine learning system, or automated content generation tool.
c) Reproduce, replicate, or create derivative works that mimic the structure, format, editorial approach, or content selection methodology of The Memo.
d) Scrape, systematically download, or programmatically extract content from any briefing materials.
e) Use the briefing content for any commercial purpose beyond personal professional reference.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to receive and read The Memo for your own professional use. This licence does not include any right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
Each briefing is individually watermarked and traceable to the subscriber to whom it was delivered. Breach of these terms may be detected through these measures.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your subscription without refund. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for any breach, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
The Memo is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional counsel. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. Content may be prepared with the assistance of AI-based research and editorial tools.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The courts of Augsburg shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
